The goal of this study was to investigate the effect of using computer conceptual maps­, compared with usual way of drawing them by pencil and paper­, in increasing learning, recalling and educational progress motivation in geology course among high school students. The study was conducted in semi experimental method in which students of 3 classes were classified in 3 groups. (Group 1: common pencil and paper conceptual maps, group 2: computer conceptual maps using Cmap software, and group 3: computer conceptual maps using Mind map software). First of all, pre-test and educational progress motivation test were conducted. After training, post test and educational progress motivation test were conducted. Three weeks later, second post test was also conducted. Test reliability was estimated 0/79. Results were analyzed statistically using one way Variance, Shefe determining test and Co-Variance analysis. Based on findings, it can be said that conceptual mapping using Cmap software in all dependent variables of the study, except educational progress motivation, did well compared to other methods in such a way that it had superiority over other two methods by having effective coefficient of 44 percent. Paper – pencil method did well compared to using Mind map software. Drawing conceptual maps using Cmap software having effective coefficient of 64 percent, had the most impact on students’ learning. After it, paper – pencil conceptual drawing and using Mind map software had the least impact on students’ learning. There was no significant difference among groups as far as educational progress motivation is concerned.

Geological tourism is a basic supporting element and an essential format in the development of the tourism industry; It is also the development of domestic tourism of the more systematic and mature and has been widely accepted by tourists and a favorite product type; To all kinds of geological parks or geological scenic spots as the representative of the geological tourism has made rapid development, Also face the bottleneck of their development; To explore a variety of Geological tourism innovative development model, for the future of geological tourism has a positive exploration of value and practical significance. Also, if we can understand Geo-tourism as a touristic, not academic, activity and make a real effort to make Geology an attractive issue related to explanation of beauty of the landscape and with disentangling the mysteries of life and earth, far from the complexity of scientific concepts and geological processes, we shall be ready to make Geology an interesting subject for tourists. If we are conscious that, when talking about Geo-tourism and its touristic components, besides Geology, we are speaking about accommodation and eating facilities, the quality of accesses and services, and the excellence and attraction of merchandising products, we shall be able to make Geo-tourism equally attractive as other classical modalities of tourism. On the contrary, if we identify Geo-tourism with the teaching of Geology or with explaining Geology to groups, we will focus on a separate matter that may be interesting for some visitors.

Methodology of Interpretive Narrations in Explaining Geological Terms and Phrases of the Quran(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Recognizing the organized system of the impeccable Imams' (AS) interpretive methods in explaining geological verses, and their efforts in the process of understanding the Quranic verses and reaching God's intent through scientific explanation, can provide effective methods for interrogating the Quran in this type of verse. The Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and the Companions, in interpreting the scientific verses of the Quran, generally adopted three approaches: "Linguistic explanation, conceptual interpretation, and reference to the Quran itself." However, conceptual interpretation was more prevalent, and linguistic explanation was mostly dedicated to the semantics of words. While paying attention to other verses of the Quran and using their own rational arguments, they explained the Quran and eluded to its cosmic and internal signs, such as subduction, the non-annihilation of matter, and other matters. The present study explores how the Imams (AS) studied and approached the geological verses of the Holy Quran. Through content analysis and library-based data collection, the narrations are examined. By comparing the geological verses, scientific narrations, and natural sciences, it is concluded that the Impeccable Imams (AS) not only paid attention to the science of their time but also addressed issues that were unknown to the thinkers of that era and were discovered by scientists centuries later. They employed various methods to convey the meaning of scientific verses, such as semantic explanation, imagery, stating the cause, conceptual interpretation, and so on
